Blank timesheet templates

Download a blank weekly or biweekly timesheet in A4 or US Letter. Each PDF fits on one portrait page, ready to print and fill in by hand.

Weekly timesheet

Seven dated rows, a weekly total and space for notes. Start on any day of the week; the dates are yours to fill in.

7 days · 1 page · Optional signatures

Biweekly timesheet

Fourteen dated rows in two separate weeks, a total for each week and a combined period total. Biweekly means two weeks, not twice a month.

14 days · 1 page · Separate weekly totals

Free downloads, no account required. These are blank paper forms, not fillable PDFs or automatic calculators. All writing spaces are empty.

Use your blank timesheet

  1. Choose the PDF matching your paper. Print in portrait orientation at Actual size or 100%, with one page per sheet. A4 and US Letter are separate downloads.
  2. Write the period’s start and end dates. Use the date column for each shift’s start date. For an overnight shift, note the end date in Notes. Use AM/PM or 24-hour times consistently.
  3. Enter unpaid breaks as whole minutes. Record daily, weekly and period totals in hours:minutes. For example, write 7:45 for seven hours and forty-five minutes; do not enter 7.45 as a decimal-hour total.
  4. Use Notes for split shifts or other details. Add a second sheet if you need more writing space. Employee and supervisor signatures are optional; leave unused lines blank.

Example: record one shift

A shift from 09:15 to 17:45 spans 8 hours 30 minutes, or 510 minutes. Subtract a 45-minute unpaid break: 510 − 45 = 465 minutes, which is 7 hours 45 minutes. Enter 45 in Break (min) and 7:45 in Daily total (h:mm). Four identical shifts add up to 31:00 in the weekly total. This example explains the fields; the downloaded forms stay blank.

Prefer to print from your browser?

Each paper size also has a browser-printable version. Open it, use your browser’s Print command, select the matching paper in portrait at 100%, and turn browser headers and footers off. The paper grid returns when printing, even on a narrow screen.

Put it into practice

The Time Card Calculator adds your shifts and subtracts breaks, with weekly or biweekly totals. These blank templates are separate files: downloading or printing them does not open, change or clear a saved timesheet.
